We Are Looking for Passionate Educators! Dehesa School District is currently seeking full-time education specialist (7.5 hours per day) to join our dedicated team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, student-focused educator who is committed to fostering academic growth and creating a positive classroom environment. The Education Specialist reports to and works under the direction of the school Principal and the Director of Special Education/School Psychologist. The Education Specialist works with those pupils who are identified by the IEP team and have a written individualized education program. The Education Specialist Teacher provides direct services to these individuals on a one-to-one or group basis. Instruction occurs in an appropriate educational setting and may include the general education classroom. The Education Specialist, with other IEP team members, defines specific goals and objectives in the written individualized education program and participates in the annual review, triennial review and any special reviews of the pupil’s progress.
