Job Summary
The EF Coach position will work with the primary objective of improving learner outcomes by working to build teacher capacity and understanding of content standards, data driven instruction, best practices in an online environment and technology needs specific to the independent study model. The EF Coach will work with facilitators through staff wide professional development, group and individual coaching, co-planning, modeling, and observation. Through social-emotional learning, diversity, equity, and inclusion and Project-Based Learning, the EF Coach supports the vision of iLEAD California while increasing student achievement.
Part Time, less than 30 hours a week

Comments and Other Information
2 years experience in a professional coaching position
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid California Credential
Demonstrate proficiency in technology skills with the ability to learn and use online platforms, systems and software to support learning and record keeping.
Previous experience with homeschool or independent study programs preferred.
Demonstrate ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrate standards of moral character and maintain a professional demeanor to serve as an effective role model for learners.
Exercise mature judgment in working with confidential information.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Work independently, be a self starter, problem solve and multi-task.
Establish and maintain friendly, cooperative and effective working relationships with all learners, families and staff.
Ability to take and edit high quality digital photos.
Understand, recommend and support a variety of learning styles, philosophies, and approaches to better support the homeschool endeavor.
Ability to align and assign curriculum and activities with standards and to adopt grading practices that can be used authentically assess a learner’s progress.
Willingness to be involved on teams and committees to support the school’s mission and vision.
Belief in the iLEAD California mission and a willingness to work as a vital part of the iLEAD California team to ensure excellence in learning opportunities and contribute to the iLEAD community as a whole.
Understand and apply Steven Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” as well as Schoolwide Learning Outcomes (SLOs).
Demonstrate leadership qualities and collaborate with teammates.
Implement plans and adjust as necessary.
