Job Summary
The Executive Director II in Learning Support Services is directly responsible to the Associate Superintendent, Learning Support Services, for the supervision and leadership support of site principals.
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of effective leadership practices that advance student learning and fosters a healthy school community and climate. Ability to support and develop principals’ instructional leadership, and overall effectiveness to advance student and adult learning in a collaborative culture, TK-5 and/or 6-12. EXPERIENCE: Record of successful teaching experience and five (5) years of administrative experience including a minimum of two (2) years as a school principal. Experience preferred in dealing effectively with people at all levels. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: A minimum of a master's degree, to include graduate work in educational leadership and curriculum development. Possession of a California administrative services credential. Possession of a California teaching credential or pupil personnel services credential is preferred.
