Job Summary
Head Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach works under the direction of the Athletic Director. Coach is responsible for the supervision and development of the JV team. Responsible for assisting with developing the tryout and practice schedules for the program. Responsible for the general upkeep, inventory and protection of equipment and facilities under the jurisdiction of the program. Maintain ongoing communication with the Athletic Director regarding any developments in the program. Monitor the scholastic eligibility and conduct of athletics. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Experience coaching and knowledge of sport and rules; • Finger clearance prior to beginning work; • T.B. clearance prior to beginning work; • Ability to motivate high school students; • Ability to be a team player and work well with staff, parents, coaches, players and others contacted in the course of work.
- Certification (valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Acclimatization, and Coaching certifications or willing to obtain)
