THE POSITION:
Under administrative direction, operates as the Librarian of Record for the Los Angeles County Office of Education and School Districts within the county; Coordinates, develops and delivers services to county schools and districts, including professional learning for library staff, overseeing materials selection, and providing leadership in library policies and operations; coordinates and partners with county agencies and public libraries for the benefit of schools and school districts within Los Angeles County.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Experience:
Five or more years of comprehensive and progressive teacher librarian experience.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation and accredited by the American Library Association.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE:
• Possess and maintain a valid California Teaching Librarian Services Credential.
