Job Summary
Position Summary: The Literacy Specialist for Grades 7-12 plays a critical role in supporting student achievement by enhancing literacy instruction and fostering a culture of reading and writing excellence. Requirements / Qualifications
1) Must hold a valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential OR Single Subject Teaching Credential authorizing teaching in assigned classroom/subject matter and the equivalent of CLAD Certification. 2) Certification in literacy, reading, or ESL preferred. 3) Bilingual Preferred (Spanish). 4) Proven experience working with grades 7-12 students, particularly English Language Learners.
