Job Summary
A valid CA single subject teaching credential in math w/an English Learner Authorization, is required. A Full math credential is preferred over foundational level credential.
Job Description / Essential Elements:
Appropriate credential, including CLAD or SDAIE authorization;
A major or minor in the subject area;
Demonstrated ability to teach all levels of the specific curriculum;
Willingness to collaborate in interdisciplinary instructional teams;
Familiarity with performance assessment and outcome-based education;
Knowledge of new frameworks and state content standards, instructional methods and delivery systems which provide rigor and active learning;
Ability to also teach other subject areas preferred.
Demonstrated ability to teach all levels of mathematics from Pre Algebra to AP Calculus and AP Statistics;
Subject area experience or training within the past five (5) years;
Ability to use the graphing calculator and computers as instructional tools.

Comments and Other Information
*Per District policy, and in accordance with the CA School Employee Association (CSEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), a health cap of $20,000 has been instituted for all new employees hired after June of 2019, and requires enrollment in said coverage for all eligible staff.
