Job Summary
Job Description: The Office Assistant performs clerical support duties for the assigned site, including communication of information regarding activities and responding to requests. The role ensures the timely and accurate distribution of materials. Essential Functions: • Answer and manage phone calls, transfer, respond to inquiries, and take messages. • Evaluate situations (e.g., involving staff, students, parents, the public, etc.) and take appropriate action or direct them to the correct personnel for resolution. • Compile reports (e.g., student attendance) to provide accurate program information. • Maintain files and records (e.g., grades, transcripts, schedules, inventory). • Provide administrative support to assigned personnel. • Assist staff in completing tasks as needed.
