Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Part-Time IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and students. The role will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. About Us: Position is located in Union City. Connecting Waters Charter Schools are Tk-12 WASC Accredited Personalized Learning schools serving the Bay Area and Central California for over 20 years! We provide flexibility while maintaining academic rigor to support college and /or career readiness. We personalize the educational experience through the teacher budget that is customized for each student’s educational plan. In addition to the customized education plan, we provide additional support such as tutoring, music enrichment, parent development and so much more! We support our students through homeschooling, independent study, in-person and/or online synchronous (real-time) class opportunities.
Requirements / Qualifications

Three (3) Letters of Recommendation Qualifications: - Previous experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role. - Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software troubleshooting. - Experience with technology maintenance and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms is a plus. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with non-technical users. - Ability to lift and carry IT equipment when needed. Education and Certifications: - A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but not required. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
