We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Requirements / Qualifications

Licenses, Certifications, Testing Requirements: - Finger/criminal justice clearance; - Tuberculosis clearance, - Drivers License - Appropriate vaccines [each employee and volunteer shall be immunized against influenza, pertussis and measles and receive an influenza vaccination between August 1st and December 1st of each year] unless exempt pursuant Health and Health and Safety Code§ 1596.7995. - Preferred: An Associate Teacher Permit or Higher - Required: 12 ECE/CHAD units, including at least one course of at least three-semester units in each of the following core areas: - Child/human growth and development. - Child, family, and community, or child and family relations. - Programs/curriculum. and willingness to obtain an Associate Teacher Permit within 50 days of hire date - Completed Application on EDJOIN or at 3434 Marten Ave. San Jose, CA 95148 (Personnel Office)

Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (8 hours per day with a 30-minute duty-free lunch). Vacation: 13 days during the first school year, then 16 beginning the second year. Holidays: 17 days per year.
