This is a “Temporary” position pursuant to Education Code section 44909 for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years, contingent on the District’s receipt of the Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant. The teacher librarian is on a temporary contract to serve at the primary and possibly at the secondary levels.
In the event that a GUSD tenured teacher is hired and assigned to fill any of the positions funded through the LREBG, the District will hire temporary educators to hold the tenured educator FTE.
