Job Summary
PURPOSE: FULLY REMOTE POSITION | MUST BE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT Under the direction of the Director of Educational Services, the Title I Coordinator oversees Title I Programs for GLCN Charters to make sure all charters receiving funds remain in compliance with state and federal requirements. Title I Coordinator is responsible for addressing student achievement, teacher professional development, and parent engagement. The Title I Coordinator ensures that procedures to monitor student progress are followed properly in order to track that student learning outcomes are being met. The position entails coordination of programs to develop or strengthen professional skills in teachers and other staff members to support student learning. In addition, the coordinator will conduct, assist with or oversee parent engagement activities to enhance student learning at home as well as to build greater partnerships between charter support staff and students’ families.
