Position Summary :
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Ticketing Assistant will primarily support the programming team in all non-classical programs across multiple venues including the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and Walt Disney Concert Hall from June 1 - October 31.
The Ticketing Assistant(s) will handle the ticketing needs of all shows throughout the summer season. Coverage of all non-classical concerts at multiple venues will be split between the Ticketing Assistants, exact assignments to be determined. This is a non-regular part-time position, tentatively from April 1 - October 31. Individual start dates to be determined upon hiring.
Position Elements :
- The Ticketing Assistant is responsible for fulfillment, tracking, and distribution of department ticket needs and parking requests to assigned concerts.
- This position will process internal orders, both comp and purchased, and facilitate external comp ticket orders for artists, agents and record labels.
- Coordinate any outstanding ticketing needs, releases, holds with box office.
- On event days, act as onsite contact and liaison for any artist ticketing issues or last-minute requests.
- Responsible for screening, reviewing and resolving artist inquiries in regard to credit card information, ticket distribution, pricing and general venue information
- Distribute ticket counts to department heads, producers, agents, artist managers, etc.
- Collaborate with other members of the ticketing staff on the creation of event seating maps.
- Assists Program Manager as needed with concert pre-sales and on-sales.
