Position Summary
We are seeking a Settlement Representative I with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The primary responsibility for a Settlement Representative I is to effectively process share drafts, settlement postings, wires, and ACH functions. This is a hybrid-based position with minimum 2 days in the Van Nuys office required and supports all facets of the day-to-day operations and/or projects within the Payments division.
This position regularly collaborates with accounting, the payments group, and the broader associate population. This role supports a wide range of projects and initiatives touching our corporate and branch workforce population alike. There will be a strong focus on streamlining processes and providing exceptional service to all associates.
What You’ll Do:

Complete the review and processing of CO-OP and ATM settlement

Monitor and process FSCC and shared branch adjustments

Process outgoing and incoming wires

Review and process daily share draft exceptions

Complete monthly processing of pension/retired payroll

Maintain daily reconcilement of various general ledger accounts

Process member initiated forgery claims

Promptly complete employee and board member expense reimbursements

Assist with ACH originations, reclamations, stop payments, and returns

Provide support for share draft and ATM inquiries, internal and external
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience supporting Settlement operations, or commensurate work experience, is preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as Regulation E, NACHA rules, BSA, OFAC, CIP, is preferred.
System experience with Fiserv DNA, Fedline Advantage, Wire Exchange, and Velera applications, is preferred.
Education and Certificates/Licenses
A minimum education of high school education or GED

The associate must be able to travel regularly among the branches supervised. The position may include occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
