TEAM MEMBER
We are looking for a part-time Front of House team member for our incredible team in the up-and-coming West Adams area of Los Angeles (east of Culver City)! This fast/casual restaurant features delicious Mediterranean cuisine and is a part of a community that promotes local business and an energetic atmosphere.
The ideal person loves to multitask and thrives working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be self-motivated, friendly, energetic, positive, and possess a passion for fostering teamwork.
You must be available to work weekends. We are offering three to four shifts a week, with an approximate six hour shift each scheduled day and the possibility of more days. Minimum wage plus pooled tips.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take orders.
- Become knowledgeable about all menu items and restaurant services.
- Accurately prepare and package orders.
- Expedite the line.
- Run food to tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Buss tables.
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures for food handling and preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ingredient shortages and out-of-stocks.
- Complete all assigned housekeeping and property maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience:
- Be a fast learner, self-motivated, and reliable.
- Have proven work experience in casual dining restaurants or the food service industry.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
- Food Handlers/Safe Serv certification required after hire.
- Be able to carry up to 50 pounds and stand for at least 6 hours during a shift.
- Excellent References.
Pay:
- $17.28 per hour (minimum wage) plus pooled tips.
