Job Description:
A Police Officer patrols or is assigned to District schools, offices, and other property; apprehends suspects; investigates crimes; and makes recommendations for the disposition of criminal and related matters involving the security of District facilities, personnel, or students. Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the 2nd largest public school district in the United States. The school district consists of Los Angeles and all or portions of several adjoining Southern California cities. LAUSD educates and empowers all students as future leaders.
