The Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District is seeking a dynamic Assistant Superintendent, Business Services / Chief Business Officer. LGSUHSD serves approximately 3,200 students and is known for award-winning schools and programs. LGSUHSD is seeking candidates who have an interest in and passion for supporting the educational mission to optimize the learning of each student and produce prepared graduates for postsecondary education and the workforce.
The Assistant Superintendent, Business Services / Chief Business Officer has responsibility for all business and financial operations of the District and is also responsible for District maintenance and operations, food service, technology, and construction projects. The Assistant Superintendent, Business Services / Chief Business Officer will report directly to the superintendent and serve as a member of the District administrative cabinet.
Minimum Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or other related field; accounting experience; CPA desirable;
- Prior experience in school business administration desirable or equivalent experience in a comparable public or private sector acceptable;
- Prior experience and successful management of employees;
- Effective public speaking and communication with the Board of Trustees at meetings.
