Los Lunas Schools is accepting applications for the role of Superintendent. This important leadership position will play a crucial role in shaping the educational direction and vision of our district. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who is committed to fostering student success and community engagement. - Valid/current Administrative License issued by the NM Public Education Dept. or the ability to obtain the Administrative License on or before the first day of the contract (July 1, 2025)
- At least 3 consecutive years of successful experience in a senior district leadership position
- Must be willing to reside in Valencia County within 90 calendar days from accepting the position
- At lease 3 consecutive years of successful K-12 classroom teaching experience in a public school
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- The successful candidate must be willing to be fingerprinted at their personal expense, and provide other documentation required for certified employees within 30 calendar days of accepting the position
- Completed LLS Certified Employee Application with legible original signature (electronic signatures will not be accepted).
- Letter of Interest to the Board of Education
- Comprehensive and current resume with current and former supervisors listed in the employment experience section of the resume
- Completed and notarized Criminal History Affidavit
- All required application materials must be submitted for the application to be considered complete.
- All materials must be received by 11:59pm MST on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
