Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Host/Server to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Support fellow team members in various tasks as needed to enhance overall service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of menu items and dining protocols.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast, is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
