Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading all operational and promotional duties as it relates to online direct-to-consumers retail channels. This includes responsibility for fulfillment, processing & packaging all e-commerce orders for safe shipment; receives and stocks incoming inventory & supplies. Also responsible for managing the online direct-to-consumers retail channel.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversees E-commerce fulfillment for timely delivery of all orders and returns
- Assist with reaching pre-determined budget goals
- Accountable for all e-commerce inventory, establishing ordering procedures to ensure appropriate inventory levels by using sales data and stock levels
- Assures timely entry of new products to the webstore and WMS
- Provides customer service grounded in the LP hospitality mission
- Maintains, cleans, and organizes shipping, stockroom, and delivery area
- Inspects merchandise, shipments, and deliveries for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor
- Use Shopify and Ship Station software in an expedient manner
- Observes safety rules and ensures and maintains a safe and orderly environment
- Prioritizes accuracy and care for all outbound customer packages
- Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information
- Performs any other job-related duties as assigned
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages all fulfillment aspects of the LP online store
- Pick and Pack orders as needed to create an experience for the customer upon arrival
- Responds to customer service complaints, returns or product questions
- Troubleshoot website code, shipping, and IT-related issues
- Prepares weekly reports and promotional reports
- Maintains current knowledge of UPS, FedEx and USPS postage & shipping costs, regulations, guidelines, and restrictions
- One to two years of e-commerce or customer service experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and team members
- Ability to be detail-oriented, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of Ship Station, Shopify, and major courier software and operations an asset
- Experience in packing/shipping operations in an e-commerce warehouse environment an asset
- Technical abilities to learn new software quickly and desire to continually learn
- Have schedule flexibility to work non-traditional business hours when needed (weekends, holidays, etc.)
- Able to lift, stand, squat, kneel, push, and pull intermittently throughout the day, up to 40 lbs
- Able to function in an active warehouse setting with constant sight, sound, temperature, scent changes
