As the Central Sterile Technician II, you will be responsible for the appropriate handling, decontamination, cleaning and processing/sterilization of all instruments and equipment for the facility within all institutional and regulatory guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications
As the Central Sterile Technician II, you will be responsible for the appropriate handling, decontamination, cleaning and processing/sterilization of all instruments and equipment for the facility within all institutional and regulatory guidelines.

- You will be responsible for the logistical movement of patient care equipment including IV pumps, SCD units
- You will be responsible for crash cart stocking and movement
- You will be available for additional unit functions as requested and supervised by the Supervisor, Central Service and/or the Director, Central Service
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of Central Sterile or Operating Room Technician program required
- Advanced knowledge of general surgical instruments and medical equipment preferred
- A minimum of 2 years Central Service/Sterile Processing experience preferred
- IAHCSMM Certification required within 12 months of hire
