Job Summary And Qualifications
The Vascular Technologist, Non-Invasive Cardiology, reports directly to the Clinical Manager, Cardiovascular Services, and utilizes specialized knowledge, skills and equipment by the order of a qualified physician to perform diagnostic tests providing data of the patients’ complete or specific peripheral vascular or cerebrovascular system. Vascular technology is a field recognized as being capable of performing examinations without direct physician supervision.
The technologist, through subjective and/or recording of data, proceeds with the established methodology of diagnostic examinations, creating a foundation from which a correct anatomic and physiological diagnosis can be developed for the individual patient when compared with the physician’s clinical diagnosis
The Senior Vascular Technologist performs some administrative and operational duties as well

Qualifications:
- High School graduate
- 2 years college and Registered Vascular Technologist certificate
- Current BLS provider card
- Previous hospital experience with regular patient contact desired
- 4 years experience in the vascular field desired
