Sales Associate - Vintage Clothing

Job Overview
We are seeking a vibrant and friendly self-starter to join our shop's team.

As a front-facing shop representative, you will receive and direct customers, assist with phone inquiries, process transactions, and maintain an organized and welcoming store environment. Retail experience strongly preferred.

• Must be 18
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, frequently climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Consistent weekend availability Saturday/Sunday 2-7pm

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Square POS system
• Anticipate customer needs and recommend suitable options
• Maintain organization on the sales floor and assist with inventory upkeep
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and improve customer experiences
• Clean and prepare inventory

Skills

• Excellent customer service
• Proficient in cash handling and operating Square POS
• Ability to effectively interpret customer preferences and recommend items appropriately
• Phone etiquette
• The ability to learn quickly, or a background of knowledge regarding vintage clothing
• Strong organizational skills to maintain store appearance

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
