Job Summary:
The LACC Creative Assistant will be a key member of the LACC marketing team, supporting content creation, social media, marketing, and creative services aimed to drive community growth and engagement, social media presence, organizational communication strategies, marketing, branding strategies, and stakeholder cultivation by leveraging the strengths of the organization.
Direct Responsibilities:
- Assist Creative Director by supporting social media, marketing, content strategy, event coordination, and admin.
- Support with filming, editing, and content creation to produce engaging visual assets for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
- Basic graphic design services, including creating simple infographics, such as tri-folds, flyers, and postcards.
- Support Creative Director with social media, marketing, content strategy, event coordination, and administrative work.
- Assist with content creation, including writing social media captions, newsletters, and announcements, and creating and scheduling social media posts.
- Manages platforms, engagement, trends, and video content.
- Plans and organizes shoots. Edits short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Assist with digital marketing, including website updates, newsletter management, and content planning and brainstorming.
- Supports the Creative Director with scheduling, content calendars, and reports.
- Event coordination, including booth setup, signage logistics, and event planning.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- 1-3 years of professional experience with marketing, social media management, content strategy, event coordination.
- Proficient in Wix, Mailchimp, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, and ChatGPT or similar systems.
- Proficient in Canva and Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and/or nonprofit sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer proactive solutions.
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
