We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
- Train new employees in kitchen procedures, food safety practices, and customer service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Implement food management practices to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating team members and promoting teamwork.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred, but not required. We will train.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage conflicts, and provide constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with interviewing techniques for hiring new staff is a plus.
- Bartending experience is beneficial but not required.
