Maintenance Staff
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for general maintenance resort wide
· Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to resort buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Manager
· Implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance programs as outlined by the manager
· Performs preventive maintenance
· Comply with all federal and state safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and resort guests
· Reporting any damage immediately to your manager
· Using safe work practices to avoid accidents of both guests and team members
· Perform all other duties assigned
· Requires knowledge of hand and power tools
· Written communication and interpersonal skills, multi-tasker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Follow company policies and procedures
· Provide excellent and friendly guest services by being attentive, responsive, and helpful
Qualifications:
· Ability to pass a background check and drug test
· Experience in commercial vehicle operation a plus
· Ability to operate a commercial vehicle in tight spaces
· Knowledge of recreational vehicle towing and parking in tight spaces with attention to detail
· Prior experience preferred
· Available to work a variety of shift times including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Able to safely operate a variety of equipment and power tools
· Able to lift 30-40 pounds
· Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of temperatures
· Extensive periods of sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, pulling, grasping, etc. during shift
· Ability to understand verbal directions and closely execute with minimal supervision
· Reliable transportation to work location
· Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
Employment with Lost Valley Lake Resort is contingent upon a successful background screen and pre-employment drug test. Applicants who have failed a pre-employment screen or have been terminated from Lost Valley Lake Resort are ineligible for employment consideration for 12 months. You will become eligible for consideration 12 months from the date of your incident (pre-employment screen or termination). Driving records are required for all new employees regardless of the position's driving requirements.
