What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Attendant position at LOST VALLEY MANAGEMENT LLC?
Job purpose
The primary task of the parking attendant crew is traffic direction and control. The main focus will be keeping traffic flowing safely through the Loading and Drop off area. Additionally Lost Valley’s parking lot is rather small, thus it is imperative to implement a system which maximizes vehicle capacity and time efficiency. The parking attendant crew uses this system on busy days, weekends and holidays, to direct guests through the lot into parking spaces.
Duties and responsibilities
- Aid guests in the parking process
- Maintain the walking surface areas for safe navigation of pedestrian traffic
- Monitor the flow of traffic through the loading and drop-off area and direct patrons as necessary
- Work as a team to help park customers in the parking lots during busy days and events.
- Notify management or Supervisor if the possible problem is detected, or there is an incident of any kind
- Have a positive attitude as the Parking attendants are the first contact of Lost Valley Staff
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Good work ethic, dependability, and excellent customer service & communication skills
- Professional and positive attitude
Working conditions
The Parking Attendant position is based outside and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500 feet).
Physical requirements
Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift objects which may be heavy, etc.
