Position Overview
The Floor Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and leading the front-of-house team. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of hospitality to enhance guest experiences while optimizing business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Guest Experience
- Oversee nightly operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience that aligns with LOST’s brand and service standards.
- Maintain a strong floor presence during service, addressing guest concerns, assisting staff, and ensuring seamless service flow.
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism, finding quick and effective resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Staff Management & Leadership
- Supervise and support servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, runners, and barbacks throughout service.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and motivating the team.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all opening, closing, and side work duties are completed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist in inventory control, reviewing par levels, and communicating stock needs to management.
- Work closely with security to ensure smooth guest entry, compliance with venue policies, and enforcement of safety protocols.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in managing sales, labor, and cost control to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Handle cash and credit transactions when needed, ensuring accountability and accurate reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of experience in restaurant or nightlife management, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality service standards.
- Ability to handle high-energy, fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, and inventory management.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).

- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities based on the needs of the venue.
