What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager – East US position at LOT Polish Airlines?
Account Manager – East will be responsible for driving and delivering revenue across the LOT network and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory and agency and corporate portfolio. This role requires an Account Management leader that can successfully strategize for business and revenue growth and identify new development opportunities.
Workplace: New York (home office) & Miami (remote)
What you will be doing do:
- Represent LOT brand to various segments of the market, to develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships between the airline and the assigned portfolio of accounts to ensure high performance and to develop corporate strategy to increase the market share, while achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Identify new growth opportunities, conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to determine and implement appropriate action to grow new business to ensure positive sales trends and revenue growth.
- Design and implement revenue boosting initiatives in various segments of the market based in market intelligence, available data and HQ recommendations.
- Represent LOT at business, industry and cultural events & meetings, taking leadership with the key trade, government and community partners to build business relationship and trust.
- Assist in marketing and public relations activities, provide recommendations for marketing and promotional initiatives to increase LOT brand awareness in the US.
- Prepare periodical sales activities reports, Power Point presentation and market feedback.
- Cooperate closely with HQ departments: Sales, Sales Support, Pricing and Revenue Management, Marketing, PR, E-commerce, Network, Product Depts.
- Conduct account reviews with portfolio clients in a proactive manner to maximize revenue opportunities and address non-performance from a positive solution-based perspective.
- Regularly meet (remotely and in person) with assigned portfolio accounts, as well as relevant LOT teams to create multiple layers of communication and partnership avenues that look towards greater revenue generation.
- Ensure that proactive relationships are in place with key accounts across the United States and provide recommendations to territory managers to stimulate revenue growth and build new partnership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop long-term strategic goals for LOT in North America.
Your experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in airline industry
- Account management and strategic relationship development, high level negotiation skills, sales planning & ability to read and interpret sales data
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excell, Power Point, Word)
- Aptitude for cultivating customer relationships leading to increased sales
- Excellence in sales process execution
- Team player, self-starter, professional communication & interpersonal skills
- Driven to overcome challenges, close sales and produce exemplary results
- Analytical acumen: high level ability to mine data and translate into executable action
- Attention to detail and planning, ability to multi-task projects
- High ethical standards and concern for customer care
- Enjoy a challenging, variable, fast-paced environment
- Willingness and availability to travel up to 30%
- Authorized to live and work in the US.
