Assistant Teacher/Floater

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a nurturing and educational environment for our students. This is a full-time position in a daycare setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support and guidance to students in their learning journey
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create individualized plans for students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
- Monitor and supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and bathroom breaks
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes social-emotional development
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on student progress

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood education or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Understanding of special education strategies for working with students with diverse needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

Preferred Skills:
- Classroom management experience
- Familiarity with toddler care and development
