What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Claims Adjuster, Subrogation position at LotSolutions, Inc.?
The Sr Claims Adjuster, Subrogation will focus on delivering results for our corporate recovery strategy. This role will independently review, investigate, evaluate and resolve Commercial Property and Casualty, Lender placed and other Specialty products’ recovery efforts while maintaining effective contact with internal and external stakeholders. Management and direct oversight of third-party subrogation vendors, including assigned law firms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years experience handling commercial property/casualty claims or relevant experience.
- At least 4 years subrogation experience preferred.
- Adjuster's license required.
- CSRP preferred.
Primary Job Functions:
- Close working relationship with handling adjuster(s), collaborate with assigned adjusters and lead recovery activities. Maintain follow-up communication with all relevant parties, review relevant investigation reports, review claim files to ensure appropriate recovery.
- Ensure company’s subrogation rights are protected.
- Gathers necessary materials for filings or ongoing proceedings.
- Drafts and prepares comprehensive support packages and prepares claims against the appropriate liable carrier.
- Assists with negotiations process.
- Presents reports and documentation to legal counsel.
- Verifies that records are complete, accurate, signed, and notarized per requirements.
- Monitors case progress until settlement is achieved.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
