Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the overall sales strategy in the aluminum and automotive manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sales and business development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Responsible for improving market position, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the company's long-term success.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans, conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential clients.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and using digital marketing strategies; qualify leads and conduct initial assessments of client needs to determine potential sales.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
Manage client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve company goals.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to execute business development initiatives, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities, provide insights on competitor products, pricing strategies, and positioning to improve the company’s competitive advantage.
Work closely with internal teams to align messaging and promotional strategies, collaborate with senior management to define and achieve business development objectives, participate in team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Track and report on business development activities, lead generation progress, and sales performance, maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities, provide regular updates to management on pipeline status and key performance metrics.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and negotiation techniques.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfortable with a fast-paced, changing business environment.
Excellent communication, team orientation and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, etc.).
Safety and Quality oriented with a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to problem solve with planning skills.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within aluminum manufacturing in the automotive industry.
Experience with analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.
Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to: sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer; regularly walk, stand, sit and communicate.
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment where each day has the potential to require different physical requirements. Must be able to communicate, sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time and frequently throughout each day. There are times when you will need to walk throughout the manufacturing plant floor or walk between buildings, this includes but is not limited to walking outside, walking up and down stairs, walking across metal grates and potentially being in contact with slippery surfaces and heights inside and outside of the building.
Location: Onsite at the facility located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. This is not a remote position.
