Location: Wood Dale, IL, 60191
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ocean freight forwarding and be able to manage the entire export process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from start to finish
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Prepare and process all necessary export documentation
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the export process
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of export regulations and documentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Bi-lingual (English and Korean) preferred
