PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for all registration desk responsibilities including check in and check out. The Front Desk Agent will assist with the sales and assignment of rooms. The Front Desk Agent will also assist with the delivery of an elevated guest experience.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or its equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or higher
in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in guest services preferred.
- Previous experience with Opera preferred.
- Knowledge of a second language preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
