Job description
- To support the Sales and Revenue Management teams. This role coordinates sales activities, manages group bookings, and assists in revenue optimization strategies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and eager to contribute to the hotel's success in both sales and revenue growth.
- Responsibilities to include some and/or all the following:
Sales Coordination:
- Answers phones, qualifies incoming inquiry calls, and ensures all inquiries are dealt with accurately, timely, and professionally.
- Assist the sales team with client proposals, contracts, and RFP responses.
- Support site inspections and client visits, preparing necessary materials and coordinating logistics.
- Organize food and beverage orders and appropriate payment for all outside sales calls with food delivery
- Draft and execute sales collateral and client/prospect presentations via Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Manage shipping of sales collateral and gifts for sales trips and tradeshows
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and presentations for the leadership team.
- Monitors/Orders office supplies and sales collateral to ensure we are properly always stocked with full packets, collateral, supplies and promotional items.
- Organizes in-house deliveries, amenities, welcome letters, transportation schedules, etc., as needed.
- Takes minutes at meetings as directed
- Other administrative tasks as requested
Revenue Management Support:
- Manage Rate Codes build and map all rate codes as assigned from the Sales and Revenue team (Opera & SynXis)
- Create, test and distribute booking links for group and transient clients
- Monitor and update rates, inventory, and restrictions in the property management system and distribution channels as directed by DORM.
- Assist in reconciling group and transient commissions
- Contribute to the package creation and execution process
- Assist in preparing revenue forecasts, pace reports, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of group blocks and rate loading in all systems.
- Other administrative tasks as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel sales or revenue management support role is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and hotel systems (PMS, CRS, CRM, and revenue management software).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff in a friendly and positive manner
.
Compensation: $21.00-$25.00
