Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation:
Greet customers and discuss their service needs by actively listening to their concerns.
Interpret and communicate customer issues accurately to service technicians.
Service Coordination:
Provide timely updates on service progress, labor estimates, and any additional repair recommendations.
Prioritize service orders and manage workflow to ensure on-time completion of repairs.
Sales & Communication:
Utilize excellent customer service and sales skills to identify opportunities for additional services.
Clearly explain technical information in non-technical terms to build customer trust and satisfaction.
System Management:
Use dealership service management software to document service orders and maintain records (experience with platforms like CDK is preferred).
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their expectations are met and to address any concerns.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with technicians and service managers to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership environment is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong follow-up abilities and attention to detail.
High energy with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with service management systems; CDK proficiency is an asset.
Licensure:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
