3rd shift:10:00PM - 6:30 AM Sun-Thurs
Holiday or weekend work as required for both shifts.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep plant machinery and systems running at peak efficiency. Your expertise in fabrication, welding, electrical systems, pipefitting, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is essential to minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, continuous production.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, including fabrication, welding, electrical repairs, and pipefitting.
Troubleshoot issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems to swiftly resolve equipment malfunctions.
Equipment Management:
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery and systems.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and maintain production schedules.
Safety & Efficiency:
Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding plant environment, particularly under varying temperature conditions.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Shift Flexibility:
Operate under one of two shift schedules:
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Flexibility to work holidays or weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
Flexibility to adapt to multiple shifts and variable work schedules.
Salary info:
$28 - $33 / hr
