What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behaviorist or BCBA for Adults with Developmental Disabilities position at Lotus Behavioral Health?
We are seeking a Behaviorist whom has experience working with Adults or Adolescents with developmental disabilities to join our wonderful team here at Lotus Behavioral Health.
We offer the opportunity to apply behavioral health knowledge to support individuals with developmental disabilities across a variety of modalities and settings. Work is typically 75% virtual/indirect and 25% in-person/direct.

- Windham County Hybrid Part-time Behavioral Consultant (with potential for full-time employment)
- New Haven County Hybrid Part-time Behavioral Consultant (with potential for full-time employment)
Duties Include:
- Conduct evaluations to assess clients' behavioral health needs
- Develop and train direct-care staff on individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly using monthly virtual check-ins
- Follow DDS Guidelines for quality behavioral management
- Hassle free data management! You will have a personal data coordinator who is responsible for gathering/ maintaining your data, and writing you report templates as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field.
- Experience working with adults or adolescents with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on behavioral health is preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities (including ABA & PBS models)
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- DDS Qualified Provider Certification is a BONUS!
