Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain avionics systems and components on aircraft.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and installations.
- Perform root cause analysis to diagnose issues within avionics systems.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installation or maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using CATIA for design modifications or enhancements.
- Solder connections and perform wiring tasks to ensure secure electrical connections.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance with a focus on avionics systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices related to aviation.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work as it pertains to avionics installations.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Experience with hand tools specific to avionics maintenance tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
