Medical Assistant

Lotus Dermatology is a fast-paced, busy medical office focused on adult and pediatric medical and surgical dermatology, and the treatment of skin cancers by Mohs micrographic surgery. Our number one priority is providing unsurpassed care to our patients.

We are a seeking friendly and motivated Medical Assistant for our office in Crystal River. You must be dependable, and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to help others. Successful candidates will join a hardworking clinical team that goes above and beyond to provide the best care for our patients.

Responsibilities include rooming patients; documentation of patient information, such as medical history, using our electronic records management system; assisting the providers with patient exams and surgical procedures; preparing treatment rooms between patients; keeping work areas clean and stocked; sterilization of medical instruments; communicating results over the phone, and scheduling any necessary follow-up appointments or surgeries. There is no experience needed; training will be provided. Due to the extensive hands-on training we provide for our Medical Assistants, we are seeking individuals who can make at least a one year commitment to this role.

Please note: interviews and initial training will take place at our main office in Brooksville. The candidate must be able to commute to this location for approximately the first month of employment until initial training is complete.

Working hours are 7:50 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
