What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Counselor position at LOTUS HOUSE WOMEN'S SHELTER?
Local non-profit agency with clinical program for high special needs women is seeking a seasoned, clinician with demonstrated experience in assessments and clinical counseling to work with women with severe trauma histories and serious mental health issues.
Candidates must be licensed Mental Health providers in the state of Florida (Registered Interns are acceptable) and possess a positive attitude, creativity, and commitment to helping improve the lives of women and children in the community. Responsibilities include direct provision of individual therapy (diagnosis and treatment), group therapy, crisis intervention, urinalysis, transportation to treatment when necessary, and compliance with contractual and regulatory responsibilities.
Preferred :
- CAP Certification
- Training / certification in evidence based clinical modalities
