We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in client care.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the facility.
- Schedule appointments.
- Collect and verify patient information.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with up-to-date patient information.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Follow up on patient care as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Support medical staff with administrative tasks
- Support healthcare providers in administering injections and other treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Active CMA
- Possess current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Strong communication, inter-personal and problem solving skills
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Previous experience in medical administrative support is advantageous, particularly in roles involving patient care.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and assist with reordering as needed.
- Support social media coordination by helping capture content, such as photos and videos of treatments, client testimonials (with consent), and behind-the-scenes moments to showcase our services online.
- Assist with following up on marketing lead nuture (training provided)
