Description
We are looking for a professional food and beverage manager to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
F&B Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines for Food, Liquor and Payroll to the highest standards
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service and resolve customer complains as appropriate
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Market the Food and Beverage outlet, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentations within corporate guidelines to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market to meet/exceed sales and financial goals and objectives
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Establish schedules and follow all policies and procedures
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
- Develop daily check-lists for each department and each shift. Ensure these are being done and done well
- Review all payroll punches on a bi weekly basis and approve time off requests
- Ensure proper staffing, planning and execution of banquets and events
- Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Marriott International standards
- Review all adjustments daily and ensure proper notes are made
- BSA for F&B
- Food Safety Logs Ordering Food, Beer, Wine, Liquor
- Knowledge and understanding of Lightspeed
- Perform daily huddles
- Monthly inventory and weekly bar inventory
- Attend and actively participate in weekly department meetings

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Must work a minimum of 50 hours per week
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
Education:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- TIPS or CARE beverage service training and certification, or the ability to obtain local certifications as required by law.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift.
- Requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift.
