1. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be working with the Director of Nursing and assist in overseeing and coordinating all nursing activities within our organization. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and mentoring
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Assist in overseeing the management of nursing schedules, always ensuring adequate coverage.
- Assist in overseeing the management of the educational development and infection control coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach in all communications.
- Represent the healthcare delivery team to ensure patient safety, quality care and safe, efficient clinical operations by supporting effective patient care delivery systems.
- Stay up to date with advancements in medical technology and best practices in nursing.
Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation review.
- Experience in shift management and scheduling preferred.
- Must possess management and PCC (Point Click Care) experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
