We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to manage guest seating, maintain the flow of service, and provide exceptional guest relations. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to optimize service flow.
- Communicate wait times to guests and keep them informed throughout their visit.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Utilize POS systems to manage reservations and track guest preferences.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
- Responsible for Takeout/delivery orders both in person and over the phone.
- Communicate with third-party delivery service drivers to maintain efficient and correct pickup and delivery of orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred, particularly in a hospitality environment such as hotels or restaurants.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with TOAST POS is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others create memorable experiences.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.06 - $22.00 per hour
