ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Supply Chain Manager at Lotus Tickets, you will oversee the procurement of the majority of company inventory, ensuring a seamless purchasing process. This role involves managing and coordinating with a team of over 30 remote overseas purchasers and collaborating with management and the executive team to maintain an efficient inventory flow. Above all else, your primary objective is to ensure that all inventory procurement happens within 24 hours.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Liaising with management to direct and support a large team of supply chain procurement professionals. Ensuring clear communication and efficient operations.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Identifying and resolving issues that may disrupt the procurement process, ensuring timely and accurate inventory acquisition. Continually adapting the process to meet current needs.
- Working closely with overseas team managers to align procurement activities with company objectives and market demands.
- Actively monitoring procurement activities and providing regular reports on performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assisting the procurement team in purchasing inventory during peak times or as necessary to meet company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience. Direct experience in supply chain management or procurement is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and resilient approach to challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management and Google Suite software.
- A strong grasp on technology, and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and techniques.
