The UX designer creates satisfying or compelling experiences for users of our product, often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis. The Lotus UX designer needs to possess strong creative, technical and problem-solving skills. The UX design role may involve psychology, storytelling, and computer science as well. Areas of focus may include content, controls, visual design and development, information architecture, user research, branding and customer / technical support. The UX designer will need to have experience in transforming a product that has overgrown with a focus on compliance to now re-work the experience for more straightforward and intuitive workflow to increase the productivity of the Lotus field staff and reduce provider abrasion.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphics user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphics designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, broken workflows)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
