Responsibilities
- Execute and support the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems, ensuring safe and seamless startup of equipment.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, inspections, and functional tests of E&I systems, including calibration and loop checks.
- Perform commissioning activities such as start-up, functional acceptance tests, and system verification for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, and general arrangement drawings.
- Verify and ensure the proper functioning of Facility Management Systems (FMS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and other control systems.
- Support the integration and interconnection of electrical and instrumentation systems with mechanical and process systems.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior technicians to build their skills and ensure efficient commissioning.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
- Strong experience in commissioning electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems, ensuring safe and efficient equipment startup.
- Proficiency in conducting pre-commissioning checks, inspections, and functional tests, including calibration and loop checks.
- Expertise in performing commissioning activities such as start-up, functional acceptance tests, and system verification for E&I equipment.
- Solid understanding of reading and interpreting electrical schematics, one-lines, and general arrangement drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of Facility Management Systems (FMS) and the ability to verify their proper functioning.
- Strong experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems, ensuring integration and performance.
- Ability to support seamless integration of electrical and instrumentation systems with mechanical and process systems.
- Proven mentoring and coaching skills to develop junior technicians and promote team growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Journeyman's license required
