As a Water Reclamation Operations Engineer, you would be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of water reclamation facilities. This role ensures that water treatment and reclamation processes are carried out efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and support sustainability initiatives.

As a Water Reclamation Operations Engineer, you would be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of water reclamation facilities. This role ensures that water treatment and reclamation processes are carried out efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and support sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver best-in-class industrial wastewater treatment by providing technical guidance and equipment sustaining support to provide safe and uninterrupted 24/7 factory operations.
- Provide engineering support on various WATR systems including Weak Acid Cation Ion Exchange, Decarbonation, High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis, Reclaim distribution system.
- Act as first response for all engineering-related issues on assigned systems as part of 24-hour continuous operation of the plant, including weekend support.
- Work frequently with construction and trade partners on break-fix and system improvement projects-significant field presence expected.
- Maintain Plan of Record documentation and specifications governing system design, troubleshooting, and operations.
- Assess process health through data mining and correlation providing recommendations for changes to maintain system health.
- Provide direct support and maintain periodic communication with key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost-effective solutions are implemented and that technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards.
- Develop and edit technical documents including operating documents, job plans, training packages, and troubleshooting documents.
- Communicate with various audiences including engineering group leaders, operations group leaders, facilities TD engineers and others as needed.
- Skills with MS Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
- A minimum of 3 years of field experience, plus degree in related field of studies, is required.
- Proven experience in water treatment, wastewater management, or water reclamation operations.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards (EPA, state, and local requirements).
- Experience with SCADA systems, water treatment technologies, and chemical dosing processes.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient water treatment technologies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret water quality data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field of studies, is required.
