Position Description:
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the Lou-Rich Inc. offices and areas within the manufacturing plant using established practices and procedures.
Essential Functions:
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers: recycling bins; refill restroom dispensers; clean/sanitize restrooms and break rooms.
• Following instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Assist with the setting up of facilities for meetings, events, etc.
• Use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, brooms, and mops for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Wash walls, equipment and appliances; use ladders when required in work assignments.
• Assist in moving furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
• Good interpersonal skills, memory, attention to detail, follow directions, comprehension, and organization.
• Support and enforce all Lou-Rich Inc. policies and procedures.
• Performs cleaning and janitorial duties, limited grounds maintenance, and minor repair work.
• Reports any need for major repairs to supervisor.
• Keeps janitor's room neat and orderly, and reports supply orders to Supervisor.
• Cleans snow from entrances and sidewalks.
• Ensures duties are maintained to a satisfactory level.
• Assists in checking facility for safety hazards and reports any deficiency.
• Perform related duties as required.
